Does anybody know how many MPG your typical Volkswagen Bug gets?

Hey there, so I was wondering, how many MPG does your typical Volkswagen bug get? I mean one of like this, incase you didn’t know what it was: http://www.volkswatch.com/vwnews/2007vwn…

It doesn’t have to be a convertible, just in general.

Yes it gets 22mpg in the city, and 30mpg on highway. According to Volks Wagon.

Depends on which engine ( gas, gas turbo, or diesel turbo ) and which transmission combination it has. The diesel with a manual will be the best. You can find out yourself by checking out the link below:

I have a 1979 Super Beetle convertible and it averages
between 24 city and 31 highway mpg. Not sure if you
meant older air-cooled bugs or newer ones?

Wow , newer cars fuel economy are crappy. Im better off getting a older GEO METRO, or toyota tercel
