What is a good substitute for lobster stock?

I’m making a seafood risotto tonight that calls for lobster stock. In the past, I’ve used Better than Bouillon Lobster Base to make my stock but the base I had has gone bad and none of the local stores seem to carry the Lobster Base. As a substitute, I’ve thought about using canned lobster bisque and adding water to it, or using a Kitchen Basics Natural Seafood Cooking stock. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I would buy some lobster or crab bisque and some veggie stock. Cook the riso with the veggie stock and before it is fully done add the either bisque to finish cooking the riso and you may not need to add any butter.

Boil some shrimp in a very small amount of water. Chop the shrimp in very tiny pieces first using your food processor. Add some onions, garlic and celery, a bottle of clam juice a bay leaf and some dill weed, white pepper. Reduce it on the stovetop to desired amount of stock. Takes about 2 hours to do this. Strain the chunks out and there you have it.!
